The XX convocation ceremony of Dibrugarh University was held on 28 June, 2022.
The ceremony was presided over by His Excellency Professor Jagdish Mukhi , Governor of Assam & Hon’ble Chancellor of Dibrugarh University.
Dr. G. Narahari Sastry, Director, CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat, delivered the Convocation address as the Chief Guest.
Dr. Jagadish Mahanta, Eminent Scientist and Former Director, ICMR-RMRC, was conferred upon the D. Sc. Honoris causa Degree and renowned litterateur, composer and singer Dr. Lakshahira Das, was conferred upon (in absentia) the D.Litt. Honoris causa at the XX Convocation of Dibrugarh University.
During the convocation ceremony, around 29,526 students were conferred degrees by the Hon’ble Chancellor.
